ALISE TĀLBERGA was born in Latvia, where she graduated from the Metal Design department at the Art Academy. 

She believes there are properties common to all things, like the two infinities which are to be found in nature, infinite largeness and infinite smallness. Her work is focused on mirroring this quality. Alise is especially interested in underwater world and motives that possess the potential to ‘grow’, to be expanded to an infinite scale, yet retaining the essential amount of information while in a small size - as an object of jewelry.

The artist now lives and works in Vienna, Austria.
